Ick! Ick! Ick! I feel so bad for you, Macy. I hope you feel better soon and I'm sure lots of treats will help. I wish you could tell us what happened to you. Maybe other dogs (like me) need to know about the dangers that lurk in our houses. There's too much stuff in the path of dogs. Don't these people get it. All we need is a warm bed with a cuddly blanket, some toys, and lots of snacks. Getting around the people things is like an obstacle course. I slide on floors, trip over shoes, and I have hit my head on a table leg running to get my toy before someone else can get it. But, I never got hurt like you. Get all the sympathy you can. Have fun on your car ride tomorrow. Put a smug look on your face when those boys start their whining!

Trip to the Doctor
Hi Tina,
I need some sympathy - so I thought I would tell you about my trip to the doctor. Here's the story........ Mommy hadn't fixed my pigtails for over a week. Finally, last night she told daddy that my hair had to be fixed. Daddy started to brush my hair and get it ready for pigtails when he finally noticed my head was bleeding! I had been rolling and pawing at it for days. (These people just don't get what we are trying to tell them.) Anyway, as daddy looked he realized I had a big scab in my head. He used a warm wash cloth and tried to get the scab out but then realized my head had a huge cut on it. I was a really good girl and let daddy do the best he could. Then today I had to go to the doctor. The doctor thinks I bumped my head on something cause it is also all bruised around it. They shaved half of the one side of my head and my head looks like there are two craters the size of nickels on top. Very red and raw. Daddy says it looks like hamburger. They told my daddy at the vet that I am a very good girl. I held still, didn't whine or cry and let them shave my head and put medicine on it. I heard mommy say it is really ugly. Mommy is sad because now I won't be able to have my cute pigtails with bows when I come to visit you. I wish I could tell them what happened to me but I'll keep my secret.
Love,
Macy

Boys Are Wimps!
Hi Tina,
You heard right about our car ride. Sammy and Oscar are wimps! Must be a boy thing. Sammy was all nervous and panting - and Oscar a little, too. Let's hear it for the girls! Lizzie had a great time - bobbing, climbing, and hanging upside down. Me - I just slept or looked out the window. I'm a really good girl! We are going on one more car ride - on daddy's birthday. I hope those wimpy boys get a grip. I'll let you know after our next ride.
Here's to brave girls everywhere!

Car Ride
Macy and Sammy,
I heard you got to take a ride in the car. Good for you. Now, Sammy, don't be scared. I'm scared of thunder, fireworks, loud banging of any kind, but I love the car. It's really cool and you'll get used to it, especially since it will take you three days to get to where I live! I'm not jealous that you got new leashes, collars, and stuff. I'd be mad if you got lots of dog treats. Oh, no, here comes a lady on a bike with a kid in a seat on the back! Woof! Woof!
She's gone now. Glad that's over. There's lots going on out my window today. I'm getting hoarse from barking all day.
See you soon with your new bunny gear!
Love,
Tina
